Merrily We Roll Along Rooftop Writers Intitative Winning Entry

I’m so excited to share this piece as part of my winning entry for the *Merrily We Roll Along* Rooftop Writers Initiative! The prompt was simple: “Why do I write?”—and we had just 100 words to answer. Out of thousands of submissions, I was one of 100 writers chosen. As a winner, I got free tickets to see *Merrily We Roll Along* on Broadway (which was absolutely amazing!) and even got to attend a talk-back with the cast. It was such a memorable experience, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it!

As a Armstrong campus transplant student, this moving in experience was already new for me, especially with the added safety measures.
